At Heal Forward Initiative, we are dedicated to uplifting the homeless community in Calgary, AB, by distributing essential supplies through customized kits. Being a not-for-profit initiative that is Christian-rooted and youth-led, we operate entirely on a volunteer basis and believe in the power of compassion and community. Our mission is not just about providing items, but about restoring dignity and hope to those in need. Our passionate team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that every individual we serve feels valued and supported.

Our Story
HFI didn't start the way most organizations do. There was no polished plan, no committee, no funding; just a group of young people with a passion to make a difference.
Ever since I was young, seeing someone experiencing homelessness left something in me I couldn't shake. Grief, maybe. A kind of weight I never really found words for. I couldn't look away and move on with my day. At some point, I stopped waiting for someone else to do something about it.
HFI isn't a large organization. We're students. We don't have a building, a budget, or decades of history. What we have is a team that genuinely cares and the belief that showing up is how trust gets built.
